If you’ve gone to college, and especially if you’ve gone away to college, you understand how important it is to surround yourself with positive, encouraging, awesome friends. They bring you up when you’re feeling down, convince you to study when you don’t want to even look at a book, and make you laugh ’til your sides hurt! Anthony was one of those friends throughout my college years, so when he proposed to Catherine and asked me if I would want to design their wedding stationery suite — their “Paper Union” — I was ecstatic!

Of course, when you design wedding stationery, it’s usually a lot of chit-chat about styles and fonts and colors and flowers and everything else—stuff that men (sometimes… usually) don’t care about, so I figured I’d be working with Catherine. Knowing what a great friend Anthony is and knowing that he wouldn’t settle for less than God’s best for his life, I was convinced that Catherine must be the sweetest, happiest, most fun person ever and that getting to know and working with her on their wedding stationery was going to be a blast—and I was right! Cat’s vision for her stationery was creative and inspiring. Her wedding style was a mix of moody vintage and chic elegance and she totally pulled it off for their wedding!

I am so grateful that Cat and I were able to work together for her wedding stationery. Now she’s not just my friend’s wife—she’s my friend.
Congratulations to you, Catherine and Anthony! May the rest of your days be filled with so much love and laughter. Thank you for letting me play a minor part of your big day. I love you both!
